What is IRMS?

IRMS, Integrity Restoration management System is a new software tool that can lead the Oil and gas companies’ business performance to get flourished by implementing our new approaches and intelligent technologies, and by making practical operating decisions using collaborative environments to reduce risk, maximize production and improve improving the HSE practices.

Advances in these technologies together with learning adapted from real problematic cases in refineries, gas and chemical plants are continually opening doors for new applications in development of upstream and downstream oil and gas mature and new fields. It can be said that today, the oilfield has been furnished with the right tools to be able to get the right information, at the right time to maintain and manage the capital assets.

Practical applications of these practices have removed many limitations through design and development of assets and integrated closed-loop of continuous improvement system incorporating work-flows that include assets conditions, equipment reliability, personnel competence, and HSE practices throughout real data gathering, data analysis, and knowledge based.

However, these implementations are challenging due to the lack of data and/or reliable equipment historical data in mature fields. Although these applications are key enablers, they are not enough to ensure significant and sustainable value if the people are not compatible or adapted with the culture changes in the process sector. Success requires a new approach, open minded, and real potential for those people that are accountable to implement  the new approaches with full capabilities and skills to be fully integrated with new tools/equipment and system procedures.

This system provides opportunity for sharing best practices in intelligent manner in terms of design, execution and operations using proven, practical applications. The technical and financial risks associated with harnessing the new technologies, retirement of legacy and out-dated systems, refreshing an aging workforce, rising costs and uncertainty in oil prices will be eliminated or reduced to satisfaction level.

Special emphasis will be placed on integrity and HSE management of sweep efficiency control, data management, data analysis for reliability and integrity assurance, practices and resources optimization, surveillance and tracking the remedial actions, remote monitoring over the internet accessibility, planned outage of equipment that fulfilling production optimization by restoring the equipment reliability and integrity.
 
International companies, consultants, manufacturers, operating companies, and service companies each have a common need to improve industry practices and achieve high level of performance excellence to a competitive edge. Implementing these practices in industrial sector will create innovative environment for focused and correct management decisions.

This software package will provide a venue to share and review the existing practices and promote it to be fully compatible with the international code of practices and standards with practical, state-of-the-art technologies aiming for intelligent approaches and their enabling applications.
